Over the next few months, I hope with the Lord’s will and help, to produce a series of summaries of ‘Fundamental Christian Truths’ from the writings of John Nelson Darby.

Where in the Bible does it say Priests aught not to marry, and who made it law.

That’s how the system works!
Of course it doesn’t say that, Jerry and you know that. The system that says that is an evil system of man (despite the fact that there are millions of true believes in it). It is curious. It says If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; (1 Tim 3:2). Note bishop should read overseer – it is not an official ordained position. And one of the apostles we know was married, as he had a mother-in-law. That was Peter!
