At the time of writing there has been as spate of terrorist attacks in Brussels, and particularly on Christians in Lahore, Pakistan this Easter Sunday. We are reminded of that verse in John 16 – ‘They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service. And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me’ (v. 2-3).
